Meet Your Speakers
Roel leads Solutions Consulting at Fuel50, where he spends most of his time in the room with enterprise talent organizations — designing skills ontologies, scoping talent marketplace deployments, and pressure-testing what AI-assisted mobility delivers against a real workforce, not a slide. Over six years at Fuel50, he has shaped how the company approaches skills and task intelligence. Before Fuel50, he founded and exited Savantis Solutions and held earlier roles at Ascendify.
His focus is where AI-driven work redesign breaks: the point where automation stops creating capacity and starts eroding the judgment, trust, and accountability that make work reliable. That distinction is what he advises enterprise talent leaders on before they commit to a redesign, not after.
In his session, "Task Intelligence: Designing Work for Human Potential," Roel will show how to separate what AI should own from what's strategically human, and use that split to guide reskilling and career decisions instead of just headcount decisions. Roel will also lead the live "Q&A and Fuel50 in Action" segments at the end of each session and show you how these Fuel50 brings these frameworks to life in a scalable and easy to implement way.
Task Intelligence: Designing Work Around What People Do Best
AI didn't take anyone's job. It took the tasks out of it — quietly, one at a time — and left the job description holding an empty bag. Most job architectures haven't caught up, and that gap is where the real opportunity sits.
The real question isn't "what can we automate" — it's how to redesign work so AI creates capacity and people create more value.
Executives get a way to balance automation with judgment, trust, and accountability. Practitioners get a lens for connecting the shifting shape of work to reskilling and real career moves.
You leave knowing exactly which tasks to hand to AI, which to protect, and why that split matters more than any automation roadmap.
