Meet Your Speakers
Roel leads Solutions Consulting at Fuel50, where he spends most of his time in the room with enterprise talent organizations — designing skills ontologies, scoping talent marketplace deployments, and pressure-testing what AI-assisted mobility delivers against a real workforce, not a slide. Over six years at Fuel50, he has shaped how the company approaches skills and task intelligence. Before Fuel50, he founded and exited Savantis Solutions and held earlier roles at Ascendify.
His focus is where AI-driven work redesign breaks: the point where automation stops creating capacity and starts eroding the judgment, trust, and accountability that make work reliable. That distinction is what he advises enterprise talent leaders on before they commit to a redesign, not after.
In his session, "Task Intelligence: Designing Work for Human Potential," Roel will show how to separate what AI should own from what's strategically human, and use that split to guide reskilling and career decisions instead of just headcount decisions. Roel will also lead the live "Q&A and Fuel50 in Action" segments at the end of each session and show you how these Fuel50 brings these frameworks to life in a scalable and easy to implement way.
Ashley Levesque is VP of Marketing at Fuel50 and a leading voice on workforce transformation. Each quarter, she gathers insights from more than 250 HR leaders on the issues shaping the future of work – from workforce agility and internal mobility to succession planning. Through the roundtables and symposia she leads, she engages directly with dozens of senior practitioners who share what is, and isn’t, working in their organizations – and how they are addressing these challenges with Fuel50.
This perspective is grounded in recurring patterns across hundreds of conversations – not a single case study or isolated success story. Ashley has seen the same challenges surface across industries and organizations: succession plans that do not translate into action, limited visibility into skills and talent, and workforce strategies that struggle to keep pace with changing business needs.
In her two sessions, “Succession at All Altitudes” and “Workforce Agility, Built to Move,” Ashley shares what's holding organizations back from building more effective succession and mobility strategies. She'll share a practical, IO psychology informed framework developed through years of research, customer dialogue, and a deep understanding of the organizational conditions required to turn talent strategy into measurable workforce agility.
Beyond the Spreadsheet
Your succession plan probably covers ten people. Your actual risk is spread across a thousand. Critical work depends on a small number of people, with no clear plan for what happens if they leave.
This session widens the lens: protecting the critical work the organization can't afford to lose, wherever it sits.
Executives get a way to see risk sitting outside the org chart, in specialist and operational roles. Practitioners get a way to surface overlooked talent and build pipelines that hold up.
You leave with a way to spot your next critical vacancy before it happens — not just a longer list of names.
