Meet Your Speakers
Christine du Plessis is a registered IO psychologist and organizational scientist with more than 20 years of experience across consulting and private practice. She leads Value and Skills Strategy at Fuel50, working at the intersection of behavioural science, organizational skills strategy, and AI-enabled talent systems.
Her focus extends past the design of skills-based talent environments to a harder question: whether those environments are demonstrably improving outcomes for the workforce, and how to measure that. That focus on validated outcomes, rather than reported activity, shapes how she advises talent and HR leaders on building skills strategies that hold up to executive scrutiny.
In her session, "Skills Intelligence at Full Resolution," Christine will show how to identify the capability risks carrying the most business weight, prioritize where to act first, and convert skills data into decisions that connect workforce capability to bottom-line results
Roel leads Solutions Consulting at Fuel50, where he spends most of his time in the room with enterprise talent organizations — designing skills ontologies, scoping talent marketplace deployments, and pressure-testing what AI-assisted mobility delivers against a real workforce, not a slide. Over six years at Fuel50, he has shaped how the company approaches skills and task intelligence. Before Fuel50, he founded and exited Savantis Solutions and held earlier roles at Ascendify.
His focus is where AI-driven work redesign breaks: the point where automation stops creating capacity and starts eroding the judgment, trust, and accountability that make work reliable. That distinction is what he advises enterprise talent leaders on before they commit to a redesign, not after.
In his session, "Task Intelligence: Designing Work for Human Potential," Roel will show how to separate what AI should own from what's strategically human, and use that split to guide reskilling and career decisions instead of just headcount decisions. Roel will also lead the live "Q&A and Fuel50 in Action" segments at the end of each session and show you how these Fuel50 brings these frameworks to life in a scalable and easy to implement way.
Skills Intelligence At Full Resolution
Skills Intelligence is often treated as a data or mapping exercise. This session reframes it around a sharper question: how does trusted capability insight change a business decision?
Executives get a way to use skills evidence in workforce planning, hiring, and succession calls. Practitioners get a way to connect fragmented capability data to real action — building capability faster, reducing risk, and directing investment where it counts.
The output isn't a more complete skills map. It's a decision you can defend in front of your exec team.
